Delete your account and data
Last updated October 26, 2026
You can request deletion of your DirtWatts account and personal data, including information received through Facebook, Apple or Google sign-in. You do not need to be signed in to make a request.
How to request deletion
- Email privacy@dirtwatts.com with the subject DirtWatts data deletion request.
- Send from your DirtWatts account email if you can. Include the account email and say whether you want your whole account deleted or only particular data, such as information received from Facebook.
- We verify that the account belongs to you and confirm the scope before deleting it. If you cannot access the account email, tell us so we can help verify ownership. Never send a password, sign-in link or verification code.
What happens next
Our support team handles requests manually. We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days and email you when it is complete. You can reply to the same email thread for an update.
Full account deletion removes your sign-in account, rider profile, profile picture, saved rides and tracks, and associated personal data. We also review submitted ride files, attachments and private working copies. Billing records we must retain are an exception. A published virtual trail may remain after identifying information is removed, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
If you have a paid subscription, cancel it through your account's billing controls or ask us to cancel it in the same email. Removing a sign-in connection does not itself stop subscription renewals.
Facebook sign-in
Removing DirtWatts from Facebook's Apps and Websites settings stops that connection; it does not by itself delete your DirtWatts account or saved data. Use the request above to delete that data. You do not need to delete your Facebook account.
For more about what we collect and retain, read our Privacy Policy.
