DirtWatts vs Rouvy for mountain bikers
Rouvy is a deep library of filmed real routes, including mountain bike, gravel and downhill rides, with events and workouts on top. On a filmed trail you watch someone else's line, and the grade comes from the filming rider's GPS. DirtWatts puts you on a 3D trail you ride yourself, with the grade measured by lidar. Zwift has owned Rouvy since April 2026, and the two still run as separate apps.

DirtWatts and Rouvy: questions
Does Rouvy have mountain bike routes?
Yes. Rouvy lists MTB, gravel and downhill routes, filmed on real trails. You watch the filming rider's line, and the grade comes from their GPS track. DirtWatts rebuilds each trail in 3D from lidar, so you ride your own line at your own speed.
Is Rouvy part of Zwift now?
Zwift bought Rouvy, including FulGaz, in April 2026. The companies say Rouvy keeps its own app, roadmap and subscriptions.
